The Weigh Station

The Weigh Station is a historic building that has been carefully renovated to foster COMMUNITY interaction.

The Weigh Station is ENGN’s Field Office and a PUBLIC SPACE for Main Street events and activities.

There’s a public platform out front with a wood burning cob OVEN and a blue stone patio built by our neighbors.

This tiny building has a KITCHEN, a bathroom, a shower and a sleeping compartment.

The Silos

The Silos are a historic LANDMARK that once dispensed coal delivered by train from Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The Soil Shed

The soil shed is a place to explore the DIRT beneath our feet, to plant, grow, fail, and try again.

It is a place to cultivate social soil as well. A place for creative and performative GATHERINGS, experiments and demonstrations.

A place to centralize community efforts and education around gardening practices that promote self-sufficiency, LOCAL FOOD access and connection between neighbors.
