The Farm

Mark planting.

I see organic farming as a political action toward countering global climate change, social and economic injustice, and the inaction of our government by continuing to grow Toad Hollow Farm. We're entering fall harvest season with the garlic crop already hanging and cured, currently harvesting corn, squash, okra, beets, and managing sheep, chickens, and pigs. My main focus is building and maintaining healthy soil with diverse cover crops, plant rotation, and experimenting with making biochar.
